What do we want to become?
That essential question is at the heart of the
ONE WORLD Festival of Arts & Imagination
The ONE WORLD Festival leverages the power of our collective creativity to imagine solutions that will galvanize our communities and drive real change at this defining moment in our lifetime.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.
— Albert Einstein
The ONE WORLD Festival of Arts & Imagination activates our social imagination to envision and enact change.
ONE WORLD builds capacity and connective tissue among socially-engaged artists, cultural organizers, businesses, policy-makers and thought leaders committed to racial and environmental justice and equity.
Culture – the way we express ourselves and understand each other – can bind us together as one world.

MUSIC WITHOUT BOUNDARIES
An eclectic lineup of internationally acclaimed performers will be featured on stages around downtown Montpelier, including the ONE WORLD main stage on the State House Lawn.
The ONE WORLD team has commissioned fifteen artists who are working with more than 30 community organizations to create public art installations at the Festival.
The projects will feature music, puppetry, theater, photography, virtual reality film, sculpture and dance.
And you will be invited to engage in hands-on participation.
These interactive spaces help turn imagination into action.
Enter into creative, hands-on experiences that inspire action in ourselves and our communities to help catalyze the profound culture shift Vermont needs to achieve a just and equitable future for all.
This space provides a laboratory where ideas get amplified that help drive solutions for building more just and sustainable communities.
The Fab Lab brings together pioneering individuals, organizations and businesses that are leading the charge to racial justice and a low-carbon sustainable ecosytem.
Acclaimed scene designer Russell Bennett (Phish, Bonnaroo, Boston Calling) will conceive the visual landscape for the festival.
His fantastical vision—realized in larger-than-life installations—will embody the ONE WORLD ethos of imagination & experimentation.
Celebrating Vermont's renowned food culture, ONE WORLD fuels your soul with a wide-range of cuisine that is truly farm-to-plate fresh.
A selection of Vermont's legendary craft beers will also be on hand, along with a variety of refreshments for all ages.
