Amber Paris (she/her)

Amber is a Putney-based visual artist. She has a vibrant social practice and partners with libraries, farmers’ markets, gallery walks and school programs across Southern Vermont to create and facilitate dynamic, creative community projects. Amber has also taught bookmaking for over 12 years to multi-age participants.

Labyrinth Bookmaking Workshop

In this workshop we will how to combine multiple design and content elements into one unique and visually dynamic book. The labyrinth book contains a book within a book and utilizes an accordion fold design. This book also creates a wonderful self-standing, double sided display. Everyone will leave the workshop with a completed book, detailed instructions and the necessary knowledge to facilitate this book making in your classroom.

Amber is available to collaborate with your school team to design a Thriving Communities Project at the PDL, and support implementing your project with a teaching artist residency next year.
