Lindsay Pontius (she/her)

Lindsay has been a professional actor, director, and teacher working both regionally and internationally for over 30 years. She is Director of Courageous Stage which annually serves more than 20 schools and a thousand children in Vermont in partnership with Middlebury’s Town Hall Theater . She is a Faculty Artist at Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English in the Beyond the Page program. Lindsay is a founding member of Shakespeare & Company’s nationally award-winning Fall Festival of Shakespeare that involves 10 high schools and thousands of students in grades 7-12 every year. She has a doctorate in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont.

Lindsay is available to collaborate with your school team to design a Thriving Communities Project at the PDL, and support implementing your project with a teaching artist residency next year.
